Yesterday we caught the ferry from Falmouth to St Mawes…. The Duchess of Cornwall, (no great beauty, but built to go the distance! ).
The crossing was a bit rough.. like the Duchess; OK enough of that but the views were good.
We walked to St Just, so called because it is very small and only ‘just’ a village, whereas St Mawes is bigger and there is ‘more’ of it.
I met up with another Herring gull.
and took some pictures of sea weed… I know how to have fun.
After a really good lunch of Cod and chips with mushy peas and a pint of Cornwall beer we walked back down to the quay and the ferry boat was just coming in, so it was the end of a perfect day….
Incidentally I tried several Cornish beers and they were all excellent, no doubt they do produce some that are so so but the ones I had were very fine.
