The wind is even more ferocious today, the beach has been lowered by about 6 foot, with the battering from the waves. However it does mean many of the sea birds are being forced to fly close to the shore. Also for some reason they seem to want to fly against the wind which make for very slow progress. It also makes for some good photographic opportunities.
