Port Noloth

Port Noloth is in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. It is classed as the only ‘resort’ on the diamond coast. Resort means that it has 3 restaurants, a hotel and some B and Bs.  It also has a De Beers diamond export facility. It is very close to Namibia and it is a great place to visit. Mainly because the temperature was about 72/73 Fahrenheit whereas only 20 kilometers inland it was 98/even sometimes 99 degrees.  We never got to 100 but can you tell the difference between 99 and 100??

On the beach were lots of different birds, including Sacred Ibis, Cape Cormorants, Harlubs Gulls, Greater Flamingoes and this Black Headed Heron.
